Also involved in the community as past president and treasurer of the Downtown Rotary Club of Las Vegas. Served as past warden and vestryman for Christ Church. Received the CRS designation from the Council of Residential Specialist. Graduate of the Realtor Institute, GRI designation and graduate of the risk reduction GRI designation. Supporter of public and charter schools in Las Vegas and have been involved with several ROTC programs at local high schools and charter schools.

Facilitated in class groups covering topics such as friendship, goals, safety and grief, as well as other subjects that involve social and emotional learning. Worked as a case manager at Desert Canyon Rehabilitation Hospital with doctors, therapy and nursing staff to ensure the needs of each patient were met during rehabilitation. Worked with domestic violence victims at SAFE House helping victims transition into the community in a positive manner. Co-facilitated a women’s support group teaching life skills, self-awareness techniques and healthy communication. Completed field study and pilot for the National Board Certification for Principals. Recipient of the Nevada Trans-Disciplinary Inclusion Project scholarship designed to promote inclusive educational settings for students with disabilities. Consistent champion for students who struggle with the traditional school routine and structure. Always looking to find a better way to educate students.
